Second day of work!
Firstly, we went to the lab to check on the plants. This is to make sure that the plastics are still tightly sealed. But, there’s still leakage which is not a good thing. We shall try on fire to melt and seal the plastic next time. Lousy adhesive tape =.=”
Then, we transferred the larvae into new containers and supply them with new food, fresh cabbage leaves. Coincidentally, a class was going on in the toxicology lab. I listened along too =) The topic is on biopesticide, it’s the same as the one we are doing research on now.
L~ Where are you??
Then, it’s time to get dirty! =D We went to the glass house to plant sawi. We need to grow our own vegetable to be used in experiments.
The steps to plant a sawi plant from its seedling:-
- Prepare the pots.
- Mix soil and organic matters thoroughly.
- Fill pots with soil. ( i didn't get to do this cause they said i'm too si man =.=" )
- Arrange the pots in rows of ten. ( this is what i did throughout the whole planting process xD )
- Damp the soil with water.
- Transfer seedlings into the pots.
- Leave to grow under the sunlight.
Mixing the soil
Grow well, people!
Then, we went back to the office after lunch. There’s nothing much to be done today. I even have the time to online and slack around. This post is written during working hour =)
