Women On Top

Since i'm having a super long break after my STPM, dad suggested me to get a job at my aunt's company in Serdang. It's called CALMS Technologies, a company specialised in multi-application smart card solutions. Dad and i went to her company and had lunch with her and uncle yesterday. Also, to get some ideas on what i'm supposed to do when i join them. Later on, i found out that my job is actually quite interesting and different from any part-time job available. Well, i shouldn't regard it as a job maybe, cause i'm not gonna get any payment =.=" "Money is not important. Experience is what you should be concerned about right now." Dad's favourite phrases. Okay dad, i think i shall be a parasite for a longer period of time then =p Back to topic, my job is actually a laboratory work. I'm gonna have to spend time in the lab to do research, experiments. The main core is agriculture. Testing on eco-friendly pesticides and guess what? I've to deal with insects which include catching and cultivating them? You can't kill them cause you have to test for their toxicity?! That was i was told. It feels like i'm having biology class in school all over again. Seriously, i've no idea how am i gonna do it. I'm not even a meticulous person myself. What is gonna happen if i kill them? This is serious! =.=" Anyway, no time for worries. I'm going to see the real working environment tomorrow and on friday, then only i'll decide on whether to stay or not. And i can choose to leave when i feel like quitting. Judging from this, i know i'm not tat useful there also! LOL! I don't think they will let me do it anyway. I shall just sit back and watch for the time being =) There may be concerns about what a smart card company got to do with insects? I'm confused myself too. I was only told that there are three companies existing under the same roof. Under her? That i'm not sure. Before leaving yesterday, my aunt handed me a book entilted, "Women On Top". It contains the stories of 15 women who blazed the trail of technopreneurship. And she's first on the list! Wow? Soon, i found out that she is the founder and CEO of CALMS Technologies, as well as the first female president of TeAM. She is an entrepreneur in the space of technology, a truly brave and independent woman. I somehow got inspired =DD
